Walter Gonzalez is a Professional Licensed Realtor serving the Greater New Orleans Area. Walter, who is affectionately called "Speedy" by close family and friends due to his fast birth and last name, is a native of New Orleans and has lived in the Greater New Orleans area for over 30 years. Walter began his Real Estate Career with Keller Williams. During Walter's tenure with Keller Williams, he has attended Keller Williams International's award winning BOLD Coaching program. The BOLD program consists of a 7 week curriculum that has been recognized by Training Magazine as one of the top training programs across any industry. Walter has experience working with Buyers and Sellers purchasing and selling foreclosure properties, rural development, VA financing, and investment properties.

Walter began his career as a Fire Fighter and Security Officer for the NASA facility in New Orleans East. In this role, Walter became the youngest officer ever to be awarded the ranks of Sergeant and Lieutenant at the New Orleans East facility. Walter achieved his commission as a Federal Police Officer Lieutenant by the age of 28. Accomplishing much already, Walter was introduced to the sales industry and found his true calling. He became a licensed Health and Life Insurance agent for a high level brokerage. Within a year and half Walter had been promoted to Territorial Sales Manager. As the marketplace for health insurance undergoing significant changes, Walter's passion for providing valued services to his clients led him to real estate. Growing up in New Orleans, Walter has always seen the beauty in architecture around the city. This naturally flows into an overall love and appreciation for homes both new and old.

In his free time Walter or "Speedy" can be found spending quality time with his wife and 3 gorgeous daughters, at the gym pursuing his second passion of strength training and fitness, or cheering on his beloved New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers.
